Manchester Folk Festival 2025: Cuttlefish Casting Workshop

Part of Manchester Folk Festival 2025, presented in partnership with the Manchester Craft and Design Centre.
Join Ella McIntosh to experience the age-old jewellery technique of cuttlefish casting. A fascinating heritage craft process to create your own unique design.
Ella will guide you through designing and handcrafting a mould, then pouring molten pewter to reveal your design before finishing with traditional jewellery tools ready to take your finished piece home.
