This is an exciting opportunity for a maker/jeweller to join an established contemporary jewellery studio within Manchester Craft & Design Centre in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Divinity Studio was founded by Eve Redmond in 2001. Stacey Hill joined her in 2018 as an affiliate maker. The studio is fully equipped and operates as a retail space 6 days a week.
They are now looking for another maker to join the studio, providing them the opportunity to make and sell their jewellery in a customer-facing environment. You would also become a part of our wonderful community of makers here at the centre.
Arrangement details:
- Payment towards rent and bills.
- You would be required to work from the studio 2 days a week, 10am – 5.30pm.
Please note: From September – December you will be needed a minimum of 3 days a week, ideally 4 to cover sick leave. You will need to be available on alternate Saturdays and one Sunday a month. We can offer some flexibility on which days. There will also be opportunities to be in the studio more if that is what you need.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an emerging or established maker, with an immediate start available. Paying a competitive rate to sell your work with no gallery commission fees. You would get the chance to build your design portfolio and your customer base.
