Our competition for North West architects and architecture or spatial design students has just come to a close, and we’re delighted to have had 26 entires.
The competition asked designers to look at our awkward and challenging exhibition on the ground floor and create a temporary structure which would change its appearance. Many of our entries have been inspired by our past as a Victorian fishmarket, and from our many resident makers which fill our beautiful building.
The entries are now all on display in Studio 24 upstairs at Manchester Craft & Design Centre in the Northern Quarter. Make sure you call by to see the entries and vote for your favourite…
Keep your eyes peeled on our facebook page (facebook.com/manchester.craft) and on this blog over the next week to see digital versions of the entires, and register your digital vote.
The winner will be announced in January 2015.
