Abstract City Life by Laura May Pyott
Pop-up Exhibition & Shop
Saturday 20th April, 10am - 5pm
Immerse yourself into the world of Abstract City Life by artist Laura May Pyott. Through projections, tactile fabrics and 3D elements, this pop-up exhibition will explore your senses through design.
Laura studied Textiles and Surface Design at Bolton University and graduated in 2020. During this turbulent time, she found exploration restricted due to the lockdown and wanted to create an exhibition which merged both the tactile nature of her work and her design background.
Laura’s geometric designs are inspired by urban cities such as Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton and Leeds. She explores her urban designs and love of bold colours through a range of products and textures. Laura aims to convey happiness through her work and the cities she calls home.
A wide range of products such as scrunchies, mugs, coasters, cushion covers and T-shirts will be available to purchase from the artist on the day.
