Here at MCDC we pride ourselves on showcasing, selling, supporting and developing some of the most unique, talented, contemporary makers and artists in the North West. We are now looking for the next creative superstar to join our diverse, exciting and innovative team; not only expand our repertoire but to add to the beautiful wealth of handmade products we currently house inside our market building.
Do you have a head for business as well as an original talent and passion for craft and design? Do you want to sell your items in the heart of Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter? Then we want to hear from you!
Don’t worry if the idea of our spacious studio seems a little out of your reach; we’re committed to helping individuals find others to share wherever appropriate, as well as taking applications from groups, dynamic duo’s and incredible individuals!

We offer city centre workshop/retail space at competitive rents, and are committed to developing new talent alongside supporting the growth of established enterprises. As a studio holder at MCDC you will also have the opportunity to sell your work through our new website, and take part in our ambitious programme of professional development events, which are supported by Arts Council England.

£441.75 per month (£19.85 per square foot)

If you have creative flair, a strong head for business planning and ambition then we’d welcome your application. We welcome joint applications for shared studios and would love to know if you think you could share with another maker (we’ll involve you in the search for the perfect partner!)
