We are excited to share two new glass workshops with Manchester Craft & Design Centre’s newest recruits TrumanKeelingStudios. Whilst Gemma Truman and Michelle Keeling add the finishing touches to their new home in Studio 26 the duo have announced the first in a series of glass fusing workshops which will be held in space2. In two friendly and relaxed workshops Gemma and Michelle will lead you through the fascinating process of glass fusing and cutting, exploring colour and metal inclusions, before allowing you to go ahead and make your very own pair of unique glass coasters.
Gemma and Michelle have been running glass workshops since 2005 and bring an impressive wealth of experience to their workshop sessions. Visitors can see a taster of the pair’s exciting collections of blown and kiln-formed glassware in the window of Studio 26 and we look forward to sharing news of their studio launch very soon.
