Our makers are excited to back at the workbench and open four days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5.30pm this October and November.
Our historic fish market building is the perfect place for a relaxed and inspiring shopping trip, where you can meet the makers behind the work and discover fantastic one-off gifts (or treats for yourself). Buying handmade craft and design is also a great way to show your support for local independent makers during these challenging times and really does make all the difference to the small businesses that call us home.
In September, our makers took part in #meetthemakersatmanchestercraft on Instagram you can still search the hashtag to find out more about our talented creative community, their skills and how they’ve been adapting to life during 2020.
If you’ve not yet visited since lockdown, then just a reassuring reminder that we’ve strictly implemented all advice for making our spaces COVID secure, with increased cleaning, social distancing and hand sanitisation points.
You can find out more about what to expect from your visit, here:

Outside of our opening hours, our makers are also happy to arrange appointments – just drop them a message directly or get in touch with the office to arrange a time.
A big thank you to all of our customers old and new, for continuing to visit, sending us positivity on social media and helping us to carry on making.
