A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER AT MANCHESTER CRAFT AND DESIGN CENTRE
Give handmade this year with a unique gift from our independent makers and designers. We have over 35 talented makers in 18 studios creating and selling beautiful handmade products. There’s jewellery, ceramics, homeware, textiles, knitwear, accessories, prints, art, wrapping and cards. And if you still can’t decide, there are gift vouchers available too!
CHRISTMAS LAUNCH WEEKEND
Join us to celebrate the launch of our festive season. Our stunning Victorian market building will become a twinkling oasis in the heart of the Northern Quarter with live music, workshops, mulled wine & festive snacks.

Manchester String Quartet perform festive tunes and Manchester classics
1pm – 1.45pm & 2pm – 2.45pm
Christmas Card Making with Stacey Hill
11am – 3pm
Get creative and make your own Christmas cards in this free, drop-in workshop suitable for all ages.
New Studio Launch with Jessica Livsey
10am – 5.30pm
Pop into Studio 16 on the first floor and help celebrate Jessica’s move into her gorgeous new studio. Jessica will be offering a 10% discount on any of her paintings that day too!
Thingness – Art Jewellery Exhibition by Mark Mcleish
Launches 2pm – 5pm, Studio open 10am – 5.30pm

Christmas Craft with Alisha Hayes

There will be three creative craft stations of paper flowers, monster making and Christmas decoration painting. Free, no need to book.
